BA (International Relations); GRAD CERT Media & Communication
Theatre lover, travel addict, culture vulture. My obsession with new experiences has taken me from my hometown of Canberra, to France, Indonesia and currently Melbourne. If I can’t escape on a plane, I rely on performing arts to transport me to another place.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French. When I started working, I realised I could make a career from writing. I got a Graduate Certificate of Media and Communication and have been working in that field for five years.
Writing about performing arts gave me the courage to publish my work for broader audiences. My interviews, previews and reviews have been published by HerCanberra, Stage Whispers and TheatrePeople. I’ve branched out to write about anything from roller derby to winery tours. I’ve written about my local and international adventures for The Good Life France and Weekend Notes and had a film review published in The Australia Times.
I also write copy for websites, brochures, booklets, videos, tenders and reports. I learn something new on every project, whether it’s discovering orchestra music or studying the intricacies of an emerging market. Whatever I write about, I always have the target audience in mind. My priority is making sure they understand your message.
